After a tough case, Danny and Steve have a talk on the beach, one about Steve's least favorite topics: love. One-shot. McDanno friendship, OC (not that important, very small involvement honestly), and Grace cuteness. Season two-ish.

TV Show: Hawaii Five-0, Main characters: Steve McGarrett & Danny Willams Danny received a mysterious Valentine's card, however much time for figuring out who sent it, he doesn't get when duty calls. Also Steve is acting strange. Would they finally admit what they are truly feeling for each other? This low-key Valentine's day might be the perfect occasion for that.. This is a different version of H50's Valentine's day episode (10x16) focused on McDanno (Steve McGarrett & Danny Williams). There's no supermarket robbery, no case.. Plenty of time for Valentine's day and McDanno argues ;). I got inspired to write something after seeing 10x15's ending. Small warning: This story contains spoilers for the episodes 10x14 & 10x15! And perhaps a bit from 10x16. (haven't seen that one yet because it hasn't aired here yet but I've read/seen some fragments.) If later chapters will contain spoilers from later episodes, I will give a new warning. Story will mainly be written in the POV's of Danny and Steve. EDIT April, 5: Even though ep 10x16 (chapter 3 will come after I've seen this one) airs here tonight, I also already read about 10x22 (not seeing spoilers is impossible haha) and I've got a strong feeling that after I have seen the final, I want to write a different story. For now I'm just going to continue this version the way I planned it. It's always possible to start a new McDanno story next month.

Ever since I watched the H50 finale, I've worked on two McDanno Fix-it fanfics. This is number 1. 14 months later: Steve and Catherine tried to make their relationship work. After the COVID-19 period and a mayor change in his life, Steve heads back to the place his heart is at: Hawaii. He's coming home to his Danno and their Labrador Eddie. The question is how's Danny going to react when he finally sees Steve again and will he like the little surprise Steve brings with him?

Steve McGarrett is the head of the Five-0 task force in Hawaii! He lives with his three children Aj, Kelsey, and Carson, all of which came from his now ex-girlfriend Catherine Rollins who serves in the Navy. Life was never easy, even when Catherine was in the picture, but now that new people are coming into their lives and old ones are re-surfacing it becomes even more of a challenge to adjust to their everyday life. I do not own any of the Hawaii Five-0 characters and I've also used bits and pieces from the show that I also don't own. The children, and any other characters not in the show were made up by me!
