The village hides a secret stitched together with brass, silk, and obsession, and the closer Noel comes to the truth, the more he realizes that some cages are built not with iron bars... but with love. Because some dolls are never meant to live. And some creators will destroy the world before they let the only warmth they have ever known walk away.

Now at the age of fifteen, these four pieces have already grown into their own person. As they venture around the world they suddenly meet Life by their favorite hang out spot one day. And that's when Hell casted over them. He promised them happiness and goodness. He promised them their dreams would come true. He promised them anything they dreamed asleep would happen one day in their life. The worst part is...what if one of the shattered pieces trust him? Will these shattered pieces of Death's heart suddenly come to light or will they go deeper and help Life get closer to his goal?
