La vie est la plus belle paisible en ce l'an 2018. L'été arrive à son terme, laissant place à l'automne, cette saison froide, humide, aux couleurs chatoyantes. La France est paisible, jusqu'à ce 12 octobre. Sans aucune explication, les politiciens ont quittés le pays, et les forces de l'ordre on disparu. Et en une seule nuit, l'Enfer s'abat sur un pays entier. Des villes à l'allure d'abattoir, des quartiers entiers en cendres, des soldats sur-entraînés sans cœur et des bâtiments montés depuis des années sans avoir été repérés, emprisonnent désormais les rares survivants. Toutes les frontières sont bloqués, le moindre individu ou véhicule s'en approchant se retrouvant pulvérisé, les alliés sont sur l'incapacité d'intervenir. La cause? Un groupe terroriste ayant intégré le Gouvernement et ayant tout mené de l'intérieur dans le but d'une énorme purge. Certains comme Oz, Gilbert et Alice se retrouvent à l'abris avant le début des hostilités, mais tout le monde n'eut pas cette chance. Quelle serait votre réaction, à vous, si votre monde s'effondrait brutalement de cette façon, sans possibilité d'un seul échappatoire, si ce n'est la mort?
