Little short story I made
TW: Mentions of Homophobia, Transphobia, self-harm, and suicide
Every day, he got bullied. Every day he'd slit his wrists.
Every day, he got called a girl. Every day he'd burn his arms.
Every day, he got called a fag. Every day he thought about it.
He finally did.
His bullies were glad.
His siblings were not.
His parents were sad.
Their stomach twisted in knots.
Every day, everyone asked "Why?"
...
They found the note.
"I pushed him off the second story. It's all my fault. Mine."
...
He murdered somebody.
He murdered his best friend.
He was angry.
He didn't mean it.
He didn't mean to shove him.
...
That night, he bought a rope.
Hung himself in the tree in the backyard.
His younger sister was the first to see.
She screamed for Mommy and Daddy.
They shielded her from the sight of her dead brother.
The older siblings saw next.
They didn't cry.
They held a ceremony for him.
Asking him to be put in Heaven.
...
It didn't work.
...
"Wh..where am I..?" The boy asked.
"You're in Hell, dumbass." A sinner said, flipping the boy off.
"No...no, this is all a dream. I'm going to wake up any minute, it's a dream, it..."
Then he saw him.
His friend. Who he murdered.
"Shit."
His friend glanced over at him, and his eyes widened. "Holy fuck."
The boy turned his head away, guilt eating up his thoughts.
His friend walked over to him. "Zander?"
Zander flinched. "Hi.."
His friend smiled. "I know you didn't mean it."
Zander looked up, his eyes wide. They welled up with tears, and he hugged his friend tightly. "I'm so sorry..."
His friend's smile softened, and he hugged Zander back. "I forgive you."
