"Aurora" is the Latin word for dawn. It is the epitome of hope and new beginnings.

"Carra" means dearly loved, or a friend.

My pen name "Aurora Carra" is a gentle reminder to myself that even when the darkest nights seem so long, DAWN shines brighter. And I am always dearly loved by God who gave me the most fantastic support system that I have, my family and friends who help me keep my hopes uplifted.

Aurora Carra's icon, the one-winged butterfly joining the daisy, also symbolizes hope and new beginnings. I created this icon so it could also serve as a gentle reminder to everyone who sees this (especially to those who are silently fighting their personal battles) that hope is the only thing that helps get us through the dark. It is a glimpse of light that loudly whispers, "Everything will be alright tomorrow. Keep dreaming; LIVE to tell another story!"
