I am sorry for your loss. Those are the words you say to someone that has lost someone. Or, it's okay I know how you feel. But 90% of the time it isn't actually okay and the person doesn't know how you feel. Or the person says, I'm so sorry. That's just what you say.
I'm so sorry.
It's okay.
I know how you feel.
But that's not what I'm doing now. Now I'm saying this, it may not seem okay now, but it will be okay and if it isn't okay it isn't the end.
And I am very sorry in all honesty and I'm not just saying this because it's what you say I'm saying it because I am actually sorry.
As for the last one, "I know how you feel" I actually do know how it feels to lose someone so close to you that you feel like you can't breathe. And I know how it feels to lose someone to cancer, and there is no way you can actually describe it. So, I am sorry. Sorry that you have to go through this. And please remember, it's okay not to be okay.
All the love, Kia
