          no, the story isn't discontinued, i'm just that slow of a writer. this is probably going to sound silly, but i feel like (and i hope) my writing has improved since i last updated the story. which is why i'm currently rewriting the first few chapters and making them longer.
          i apologize to those who have been waiting for chapter three, but i promise you i'm working on a better version of the story, and the wait will be worth it!

i'm gonna be honest, the way gege draws to gojo is lowkey getting on my nerves. like ok, we get it, you don't like him, but going out of your way to draw a CANONICALLY HANDSOME CHARACTER LIKE SHIT IS INSANE

          after thinking about it for the past month, i have decided to unpublish THE SHADE. it was a pretty tough decision as it was my first (and only) book to get that much attention, but the truth is that i have mainly lost interest in writing for genshin. that and the fact that i started writing THE SHADE in 2022, and i'd like to believe my writing has now improved and has more to offer.
          i won't be deleting it, maybe one day i'll even decide to rewrite and publish it again. i'm really grateful for all the comments and votes, it means a lot to me, but mostly thank you for reading and enjoying the story<3
