Blinking slowly , Charlie stepped forwards hesitantly as her whiskey eyes narrowed , a set of deep black eyes rested below the warm whiskey ones . In unison , the two sets of eyes blinked slowly once more , the girl's mouth falling opened with a silent breath . Giving a quick huff through her nose , she offered a smile , one that flashed sharpened teeth and a pointed tongue .
" Hi , Jesse . It's been a while has it not ? " the girl spoke , her voice as soft as the wind blowing behind her , the horror stepped a bit closer , holding out her hand as her smile died down to a mere warm grin . " I know you aren't used to seeing me in such a way , please forgive me showing my true self so suddenly without word , " she apologized , clawed fingers gently taking his hand into her own , black eyes closing as her whiskey eyes shined before closing due to the wide smile that spread over her lips .
Charlie soon shifted forwards again , her hand releasing his as she wrapped her arms around his torso , forehead pressing against his chest as she hummed contentedly , her soft voice soon echoing through the silent air . " I missed you so much , Jesse . I am so deeply sorry I have been gone so long , " she paused , looking up as she still held a bright smile , both sets of her eyes closing as she pressed her fingers to his forehead , a soft giggle escaping into the air .
" Perhaps we can make up for lost time later on , yes ? " Charlie's voice had now whispered into Jesse's thoughts , not wanting to voice her . . . Interests aloud as she dropped her hand , wrapping her arm back around his torso happily , black eyes flickering to the side while whiskey hues closed happily .
