Honestly my biggest irk when it comes to fanfiction is when the author tries to implement the very little Japanese they know in their story via unnecessary “ohayo”‘s and “arigato”’s typically spelt wrong and in a way in which implies that they are then speaking English the rest of the time they are speaking fucking basic Japanese lmao
