Anyone who uses Discord on here should be aware of a scam going on, I've seen like 5 posts in the last few days about people being hacked on there

The previous thing on my MB explains it in better detail but I forgot to press announce, be safe out there people

That’s why I never accept friend invites from accounts that didn’t come from someone I talked to on here or a friend in a server or someone I talked to irl

I already posted this a few months ago but I've seen a lot of people saying they've been getting hacked and it seems to be the same thing, so I'm going to post it again

ANYONE WHO USES DISCORD, LISTEN UP

There is currently a scam going on that one of my rp buddies fell victim to and lost their account
Basically, the scam starts with being told by one of your Discord friends that they accidentally reported your account for phishing or something. If you get this message, that person has already fallen victim to it.

You are then told to contact or contacted by an account pretending to be Discord Support (Which they do by changing the name of accounts they have already hacked), then they give you an email to change yours to in order to "protect" your account. They then ask you for money as a verification fee (and send a screenshot that looks very legit) and tell you your account
will be banned if you don't pay. It seems whether you pay or not, they will change your password and then take over your account and message people on your friends list and so on

If you see this, report and block them. DO NOT give them your email, as this will give them access to take over your account and start messaging other people.

Discord will not message you through a Discord account. They will send you an email if anything, and they will not ask you for money. Don't fall for it, friends

          Be safe out there!

Hey guys, in news of Wattpad removing pms, I just wanted to bring something up

If you have the ability to get onto the website (as ik some people only use mobile) and you have messages you don't want to lose, I would highly recommend looking into the Web Scraper Chrome extension

The tutorial is really easy to follow, and from there you can make a selector to copy and paste all your messages easily, and put them in a Google doc or something from there

This works for comments as well if you want a roleplay backed up somewhere or anything

I didn't know about this until a few months ago and I thought it might be useful as it's much faster than copy pasting a bunch of messages

Where is everyone hearing wattpads deleting PMs? I've looked it up and I can't find anything on it?

@Jackthuderbolt fair enough, hopefully they decide not to remove it bc literally everyone I've seen is upset by it

@Railyn_Whispers Yeah that's good information to know for sure

@-Death_By_Zambonis- that’s usually how they get you, but the thin with any kind of social media stuff is that they will only inform you by email. YouTube, twitch and all of that will only be by email, you won’t get a text or anything from their platform
