⠀⠀ the innkeeper flicks her gaze over the man, who happened to have a tail and ears that she doesn’t comment on, and then she settles on his face once more. she had seen, and invited in, many species. his does not unsettle her in the slightest. she offers a kind smile, and she picks up her pen.
⠀⠀ “the cost depends greatly on what you carry. where i get my supplies to keep this place running in ideal conditions, they accept all currency. some just happen to be more valuable, which will reflect in the prices for the room.” she pauses then, lips pressing into a thin line. “does that make any sense?”

He was gentle, for a being of his kind, a creature bred to be violet, bred for police work. “Don’t worry I am quite big on following rules. I won’t break a single one.” Obedience was his thing, he was a dog after all. He then started to search for something, “payment? What do you take? And how much is it?” He asked as he found his wallet, his tail starting to wag again. His ears now standing again, he was comfortable, here already.
⠀⠀ “of course not! the emerald inn allows all who wish to escape, to figure things out, or to simply *be* for a while.” hallie offers a smile as she stands from her stool at the desk, palms resting against the flat, wooden surface. she does not do formal introductions, not even a little bit.
⠀⠀ “you are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish, just follow the rules and exist as you please within them.” she turns around to grab a key from the collection on the wall behind her, settling on the light blue with white designs. she turns around and offers a smile for him, holding out the key. “you’ll be in room seven—- first floor, down that hallway right there.”

//I deeply apologize to people for my lat responses on all of my accounts…. I should be more free by next week, depending on how long it takes us to pack up this truck. Then the week after that I’ll also be free. I’m moving so I have been focusing on packing the past few days….
