So, I watched the Michael Jackson biopic movie on Wednesday for early access with my mom & my closest friends, and holy cow! IT WAS SOOO GOOD!!! Soooooo good, we all wanted to watch it again!!! And Jaafar did so well as his uncle, and it was just crazy! I had the same thought like "are you sure we're watching his nephew or did Michael actually come back?!" And the movie was just soooo good. And it was cute and really cool to see how my mom was in the theater watching it too. Not to mention she's a Virgo just like him. Cause she grew up in the 80s with Michael so she got to reminisce about that time a lot lol. And I just loved how they showed who Michael TRULY was and why. A great performer with the biggest heart.
But at some point it did make me sad cause I was seeing how he was and everything and I was thinking how could the media just treat someone like him so badly and so mean? But that's all on those people so...whatever. Just don't even bother with that. But huge credit to everyone who worked on the movie and to Michael's family. Which I highly HIGHLY preferred from the very start. Let his family do this. Let his family tell his story cause no one knew Michael better than his own family. I won't give any spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet or are gonna go see it so don't worry at all.
But another thing too, watching the movie is really inspiring me to write my Michael Jackson story again. But make it a little different. Same plot but put the actual things that Michael went through in the late 80s and just put who he TRULY was. So yeah. Other than that I absolutely ABSOLUTELY loved the movie and this is definitely a movie that I'll be watching over and over and over lol.
