Audrey had only a fuzzy memory of it sober. She had a vague feeling of tingling on her lips when she woke up New Year’s Day after spending the night drinking with Adam.
She’d kissed him. The clock has struck midnight and she’d leaned over and kissed him. It wasn’t a quick kiss, she knew that much from the fuzzy memory floating in and out of her conscious mind…
It had been like they’d been dating again… a long, sustained one that made her lose her senses outside of him.
Maybe it had just been a release of pent up emotion loosened by the alcohol… and that’s all it was.
