            Harken chuckled "a wise man indeed." He gently patted the other on the back. The salty wind blew gently into the sails of the ship

            “Well, what else was I to do? Risk the ire of a fire-breathing beast?” He chuckled, hand resting along the hilt of his sword limply out of habit, “I know most on these seas would've sooner fired the cannons. Not that I wasn't prepared to.”

            He nodded in acknowledgement. "I thank you for allowing us to land on your vessel." He says as the dragon seemed to be relaxing.

            "Speaking dragons? Hmm most interesting, however no the dragons of my home land can not speak." He replied as his dragon hissed softly looking at her it seems it has a limited understanding of what they were saying.

                 “ Oh , but can they speak ?  Here , dragons can communicate with others , though only I can speak the dragon tongue and understand their shouts.  It’s said that when two dragons clash , it’s less a battle and more a heated debate. ”

            "My people have ridden dragons for centuries my dragon is loyal to me." Harken replied as they stand beside his dragon. 

In the present he rides his dragon along the cliffs and seas of the land 

Harken was born during the Age of Madness and he quickly learned he had to fend for himself as many dragons often attacked and caused destruction. When he was 18 he forced a bloodchaser dragon into submission with his bare hands taming the beast.
