There was a camping bed on the ground for either one of them — he’d probably insist that she take his bed and he sleep on the floor instead — plus a bagful of snacks, some movies… everything you could possibly need for a sleepover.

One minute he was on a rollercoaster, the next minute he was here. He couldn’t even tell if there were anyone else was with him, though there had been others on the Cyclone ride.

@losergeekorwhatever- “Yeah….” Christine nodded and looked at the lever, crouching down to get a better look at it. “It’s the fortune telling lever.” The small girl recalled. “We pushed on it like this.” She carefully pushed down on the lever before Karnak started to make weird loud sounds, as if he was starting up.

At the fair?” he asked tentatively. “The Amazing Karnak?” He stood next to her, looking up at it, before spotting a lever by its side. “What’s that thing?”
