          Barbie was not just a film on a plastic doll with 'big boobies'. It was so much more. 'i enjoyed the film' if you really fucking did Jo Koy, you may have picked up even a hint of what the movie was trying to address. I enjoyed the film too, however I wasn't so blind sided by my own toxic masculinity and big bald head to ignore the message. It is now 2024 - 106 years after women got the vote in the UK - yet the one film made for girlhood and what it is like as a woman in modern day is being manipulated into an excuse to hate women.

I feel it is important to speak up about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and spread awareness about what is currently happening. We are all clear that Hamas (a Palestinian terrorist group) attacked the Gaza strip and killed many however there are some things that cannot be ignored. The genocide of children and innocent people can never be allowed to exist however, something many Zionists choose to ignore several facts when defending their Israel of which is a colonial settlement. 
          
          Firstly, Israelis have done the same genocide to Palestinians for over half a century. This cannot be ignored. Both crimes are wrong however ignoring your colonies war crimes and genocidal tendencies is never acceptable. Secondly, this is not a conflict of religion, it is a conflict of human rights. All residents of Gaza, from Jewish people to Muslims to Christians and everyone else in between have been affected. Those in the Gaza strip have no water, electricity or food leaving innocent residents and children to starve.
          
          I, as an author, will forever protest against the killing of innocent people. My thoughts are with those being affected by this crisis and the families of innocent victims who are residing in foreign countries. However, I will forever stand behind Palestine and its people. I will not defend colonialism and genocide which means I do not support Israel or Hamas. I purely only stand for the Palestinians themselves who have been effected by this crisis and the genocide committed against them.  This does not make me antisemitic or Islamophobic, it makes me decent human who won't stand for the decades of genocide faced by the innocent Palestine citizens.
