@BigEyedWonder  i may give it another try! i did like just how broad it was. considering how many fandoms im part of, it's definitely better than wattpad and tumblr in that aspect 

@-JUICEBOXX oh you are so real for feeling that way bcos that was how I felt when I first started crosspublishing there in May ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ
            
            But then I checked out Fanfiction.net and suddenly AO3 felt modern lmaooo
            
            Truthfully, I've come to find AO3 more useful because there's no image upload limit—and I'm someone who puts up a lot of photo references in the recent chapters im making and even Wattpad's 20 image limit per story part is no longer cutting it for me
            (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠) Plus, the html embedding for link redirects at the click of a word within the story has also been rlly useful for me in there 
            But yeahh, the website itself feels jarringly old when coming from wattpad or tumblr. it's why some people have to upload "work skins" to customize how it looks so it doesn't appear like just some plain school website (haven't tried work skins though cos i just use dark mode)

@BigEyedWonder  i just can't get into AO3 unfortunately! ughh it just seems so outdated to me? i mainly stick to tumblr for this very reason

            which do u prefer most in general and tend to avoid among these three:
            - xreader stories 
            - canon character x oc stories
            - canon character x canon character stories
            
            cos i personally prefer ocs but i just found out that there are people who actively avoid oc stories ;-; XD
