Hey, I notice you seem an enthusiastic fan of MHA? I'll bookmark your story to read it as soon as I get some time. I am working on a project, if you like canon-compliant stories or want to see something different, feel free to take a look (that's actually main reason why I lack time since it's erm... quite long to process through writing). Any of y’all who give feedback on my stories are seriously freaking awesome!
          
          It helps SO much to get actual feedback. It really makes a difference where (even if u disagree with what y’all say) I can at least go ‘hm, interesting, maybe I can improve on that,’ or ‘nah, I like it this way, it’s intentional, but respect to them for saying what they think.’
          
          Either way the feedback is always appreciated! And it’s NEVER long enough lol. I like paragraph reply’s and lots of comments! :)

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that like 99% of stories regarding MHA are all like…
          
          “Abused male reader,” “he has depression,” “he’s so weak and frail” and then like the female lead is like “yandere Momo,” or “crazy harem where all 10 girls want this bum loser,”
          
          Like bruh… WHY can’t more stories be like… NORMAL?! 
          
          Idk. Maybe that’s part of why I wrote my story. Bring some more REAL LIFE values into it LMAO

@Wehnshu YES! You perfectly hit the nail on the head! I can’t agree more. Even in my short, I think around chapter 5 is where I give Tai Lungd backstory as a child, and it sucked. He objectively had a terrible childhood. But it’s written in a way of ‘hey, this happened. I couldn’t help it. I don’t hate society now. I’m good. Life moves on.’ And it hasn’t been brought up again for over 100 chapters. Tai Lung NEVER uses that as any excuse. Like literally never. Nor does Momo think he’s ’some poor baby’ because his childhood sucked cuz hers did too and she doesn’t whine about it. THAT is how I think more stories on here need to be done. But yeah you really articulated it really really well! It’s one of the reasons I don’t read on Wattpad anymore. It’s such a waste of time due to low quality stories, and even then I want to create more than I consume so…. Yeah lol.

Not only are the MMCs treated badly and have backgrounds like that, it gets to a point where it becomes so unreal...like the author is just doing anything to make the characters unlikable. That way the MC can get revenge and however he does it would be justified in the story. So even if he decides to kill everyone (including the innocent at times) or steal everyone's mum's for his harem, it's alright because people hurt him...or in other words; the world hurt him and he wants the get back. Some authors fail at that idea of theirs, as the MC ends up being more of a villain instead of the good guy the author intended him to be.
            
            I'd say a lot of Izuku Yagi stories, RWBY stories, and the abused/betrayed/neglected/cheated stories fall into this category.
            
            A lot of the MCs are unlikable as well, but we're supposed to like them apparently.
