“Fascinating…” she murmured, more to herself than to the stranger. The scientist in her moved before hesitation could root; she stepped forward, boots sinking into the wet earth.
“I’d assumed the villagers exaggerated,” she began, voice steady though her pulse betrayed her. “But they failed to mention…” Her gaze lifted. “That you’d look so—alive.”
Silence filled the fog between them, broken only by rain and the low growl of thunder. She tilted her head, studying them like one might a masterpiece—or a weapon.
“I’m Doctor Victoria Frankenstein,” she said at last, the title falling like a confession. “And I’d very much like to understand what you are. Would you permit me to study you?” she asked softly. “For science, of course.”

♘【 @-Ludex 】♘ Victoria slowed her pace as his voice trailed off, the lantern’s glow softening across the narrow path that wound toward the manor gates. Rain hissed through the trees, catching on the curve of his horns and the faint shimmer of blue that glinted whenever lightning struck. “You’ve found warmth tonight, at least,” she said quietly. “Even if it’s borrowed from a stranger.” Her tone held no pity, only certainty, the kind that came from a woman accustomed to taking charge of her own storms. When they reached the iron gates, she set a gloved hand to the latch. The hinges protested, then yielded with a long, low groan. Beyond lay the courtyard—wild vines climbing the stone walls, the windows of Frankenstein Manor flickering with candlelight like a heart struggling to remember how to beat. She glanced toward him, the faintest smile tugging at her lips. “Come along, Neuvillette. I’ll have the fire lit in the east parlor. You’ll find no locked doors here.” Her gaze lingered on the way he wrapped his arms around himself, and something unspoken softened in her expression. “And perhaps something hot to drink,” she added. “I’ve yet to meet a creature—human or otherwise—that doesn’t take comfort in warmth.” She turned then, pushing open the heavy doors, a wave of heat spilling out to meet the night. The air smelled faintly of parchment and ozone, the scent of a life lived in pursuit of impossible things. “Inside,” she said gently, motioning him in. “Before the storm remembers you.”

@MonsterScience- \\ He nodded and he looked at her, “kindness is something humans need to understand more of.” He started to follow after her as his tail swayed behind him. The tail fin dragging on the ground behind him. His arm fins flowed some with each step he took. His steps were near silent behind her, he started to gently tug on his hair. Then he started to comb his nails through his hair and he spoke, “thank you it’s pretty cold out here….” He trailed off and he lowered his head, “I came down from my home, which is a cave…. Because I wanted someplace warm. Everywhere I went turned me away.” He actually was thanking her as he stepped up beside her. His blue scales glinted faintly and he wrapped his arms around himself. His hair was soaked. He was used to the water, just not used to the biting cold of the air around them.

♘【 @-Ludex 】♘ Victoria’s gray eyes softened, a flicker of something almost like warmth passing through their usual icy precision. She inclined her head slightly at his words, letting a trace of a smile lift the corner of her lips. “Kindness,” she murmured, letting the word roll between them like a fragile gem. “That is far rarer than most realize… and far more telling than fear or form.” She took a careful step closer, her boots sinking into the wet earth, her lantern casting a halo around them both. Her gloved hand gestured toward the path that led back toward the manor. “Then we shall see what light we can cast,” she said, her voice steady, thoughtful, and just faintly teasing. “Follow me, Neuvillette. The manor is not far, and it is… better suited to observation than a moor in the storm.” She began walking, the lantern swinging lightly, illuminating the glint of his scales in the rain. “Do not be concerned about appearances,” she added over her shoulder, her tone almost conspiratorial. “I study life for what it is, not what others fear it to be.” Her curiosity burned beneath her calm exterior, alive with every step as she guided him toward the sanctuary of her manor.

"I'm sorry! I didn't see you at all." The girl apologised with her cheeks dusted in a reddish colour while she bowed two times. She ran into a guy while she looked over her shoulder because some weird men were following her around. Mitsuri wanted to make sure that they weren't following her anymore and as soon as she faced the right way, she bumped her head against something rather hard. The girl never wanted to almost ran him over.

"Your children?" She asked very curious now as she looked up at him with a bright smile on her lips. Mitsuri would hold her hands behind her and nodding slightly with her head.
"I bet theyre proud to have someone so cool to look after them! You're a very nice person... you have a good heart even if you looked a little scary at first" she said with a soft giggle.

@Love-Hashira // He looked back at her and he stood back up straight, “it was more for the protection of my children. Because if they were going after you they could have ended up turning towards the Melusines.” He sighed and he dipped his head, “but you’re welcome.” He didn’t really seem to care for being praised like that.

The guy looked back at the girl behind Neuvillette before clicking his tongue in annoyance.
"Tsk... this isn't over! " he said angrily before he would run away as well. He sure tried to act all tough but was scared for his life! Mitsuri on the other hand was simply watching them before clapping her hands for a brief moment. Her smile was soft but still bright while her green eyes were widened and sparkling in awe. She never saw someone who would defend someone else that they didn't know. The girl perked up before she bowed down as a sign of respect and thankfullness.
"Thank you for saying me from those three men... but I'm sorry that i caused you any trouble even if you didnt know me..." she had her head down but you could still hear the same for herself in her voice.
