twst fic is cancelled. wbk fic is my new best friend (do not expect me to actually get my ass up and work on it i'm still upset at myself that i left my twst fic to rot to the point that i lost any and all motivation towards it)

so. hi! i kind of disappeared for a while there, but that's because school started again and i've been busy with my apprenticeship on top of my unstable mental health (despite being medicated??? that's crazy man). due to all of that, i literally have not worked on my fic since april...so that's around 5-6 months of no progress. although i have been slowly regaining my motivation and actually resumed work on it albeit no actual planning has been done yet. i'm not gonna make anymore promises on the release date unless i've 100% completed planning...which will take a while seeing as i'm less than halfway through my plans. but i just wanted to make a small update on where i'm at currently. my apprenticeship does eat up a lot of my time since i do 8hr shifts + i'm supposed to graduate by spring 2026 so i've also been doing all of my skill assessments. but yeah! i will say that my goal for finishing planning is by the end of the year so fingers crossed that works lmfao and hope the seasonal depression doesn't drag me under again (joking of course!! ...or am i?)

the planning process for my twst fic has been on pause for the past 2 months despite promising that the first chapter would be out in june or july, but dw!! i’ll try to get it out sometime soon, but all of june was spent entirely just suffering from side effects of my medications lmfao but i’m gonna get my ass up SOON guys trust

so with the whole recent ao3 getting scraped and 12.6mil works getting fed to AI (MY OWN WORKS INCLUDED BTW.) i think...i'm gonna take a step back and reevaluate whether or not i should post either of my wip fics. unlike ao3, wattpad doesn't protect authors from this kinda thing??? so i just. honestly don't know what the hell i'm gonna do. so any hopes of me dropping my twst fic during the spring is like GONE and if i do decide to continue work on it, it'll be delayed to june or july. but yeah that's all i have to say for now as i'm genuinely pissed off rn bc the audacity of some people never ceases to surprise me

so. i MIGHT have started a side project for another game…this one is NOT seeing the light until i’m like almost done with my main project tho

i'm actually progressing with my plans for my twst fic so IF i get the planning portion done this month then keep your eyes out for a release in either late spring or during the summer !!

          i’m gonna have to rework some of the plot i’ve alr written down, but i really do hope that this fic will finally see the light of day after being worked on for,,,almost 2 years oops?
          
          well anyways! my work rhetoric is shit and i have an internship for the next 6 weeks so i’ll try to work on it during any free time i have. hopefully. fingers crossed lmfao

i hate to break it to you guys, but i have not worked on the twst fic since like september,,,,i’ll try and see if i regain my motivation to work on it at some point, but it’s not happening anytime soon bc i currently have covid and i feel like i’m constantly being run over by a train. next year maybe,,?
