hi everyone, for those of you who haven’t read my authors note chapter on my book ‘hater’ i will rephrase it for you all to see. if you want a further explanation, please refer to that chapter.
          
          as you all know, i’ve been writing for a very long time, about 4 years total. i started and only have been writing books of muichiro, but I’d like to admit that now, i no longer feel as comfortable writing about him. in my head, he is still a 14 year old boy, and over the many years i’ve been writing, i’ve matured a lot. in short, i no longer feel comfortable writing about a 14 year old boy as a now 17 year old teenage girl. of course, this doesn’t mean that i will delete my muichiro books, but i ask that you all understand that i wrote those when i was closer in age to him. though he is a fictional character, i feel that it made more sense for me to write of someone in my age range at the time.
          
          i hope you all understand that i would like to branch out and write about characters that now match my interests more, as i have grown out of my muichiro era a while ago, but have continued writing just for you all. thank you everyone who has been there from the beginning, and i hope you will all continue to support me as i begin a new era :)!

I completely get where you’re coming from. I thought it was just me, so I feel better knowing I’m not the only one feeling this way :)) Tbh it’s so hard for me to even finish writing my story because I get uncomfortable and feel so gross while writing. I just wanna move on already but I don’t want to not finish the story yk?

@laelysia im really happy you understand!! stand proud of your works and achievements, and i know you will continue to write amazing stories even when they aren’t about mui! that’s the only way we can grow, experiencing and trying new things like writing in a different route! you are amazing and just know you are not alone!!

            this is the most valid statement i have ever read and im so glad that youre addressing this. it is 100% ok to want to branch out and write about other characters, esp in the case where you dont feel comfortable writing the original one anymore. if anyone has issues with that, then they can go write their own ffs or smt idfk. but PLEASE just write what you want and your interests!! your writing is amazing and anyone who has complaints ab that is weird LMAO. forcing yourself to write characters that you dont want to write likely has adverse effects on the quality of writing you put out + your motivation, so im so happy that youre deciding to write characters & fandoms that you fw more!
            
            ive been having my own dilemma about this because i dont feel comfortable writing romantic things about muichiro because of my age. still, i wanna wrap up any unfinished ffs and get my fair share of “why arent you writing muichiro anymore???!!!!!!?” comments time to time. i rlly thought i was the only mofo dealing w this but seeing the author that i took the most inspo from also dealing w this issue makes me feels so incredibly validated THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS YOU ARE SO SO VERY REAL </3
