Okay, so I saw your message in PM dear, and assuming it's related to this, I wanted to reply here so, that way I can give some support right away. I'm really sorry I didn't reply quicker in PM, I fell asleep due to having been overtired.
For one, condolences to you and your family dear. Losing a family member, even one you aren't necessarily close to will still hurt.
And, I'd say it's okay to feel however you're feeling concerning seeing your aunt. Since I know you've told me before that she was your step-grandpa's daughter, it would make sense that it reminds you of when you lost your father. She's likely feeling a lot of the same emotions that you were feeling then, and due to that, you're likely picking up on how she feels due to it or recognizing some behaviors/moods that may have been similar to your own.
If you feel like you should comfort or support her, just do so gently and don't force it on her.
Even when someone's been gone for years, things will remind you of them, and it'll hurt and possibly bring back the pain you felt from losing them. And if you feel that right now, I'd say, just go ahead and feel it. Let it out. It's okay to hurt and feel, so long as you aren't hurting others by doing so(And I know that's not how you are).
Holding everything in will make you implode, and it'll just set back any progress you may have made with your healing.
I'd suggest, if you're afraid you'll upset anyone, then to maybe find time to yourself, go to a room alone, or go outside, and let out how you feel then.
There are a lot of things that when I see them, remind me of my grandma, and I'll start crying or getting lost in my thoughts. And I find letting myself acknowledge how I feel helps with coping with her loss.
It's okay to not be okay, to put it plainly, you're human, and humans aren't perfect, it's okay to struggle with the loss and how you feel, and it's okay to find ways to cope.
