Hello everyone! 
          
          I have some unfortunate news. As some of you may know (or don't), I've been struggling with mental health for a long time. I've been depressed, as well as experiencing severe anxiety, and recently it took a severe turn where I'm honestly glad I fought through and am still here. (If I don't respond to you, or don't respond the way I used to, please don't take it personally. I tend to withdraw and communicate less.)
          
          As a result of the above, Volleyed Into Love will be taken down today in a few hours. TEMPORARILY  though!! I'll be working on it offline on my own time and it will be back up in a completed state, so on the bright side you will be able to binge read it without waiting for weekly updates. And don't worry if you've already purchased chapters ahead, they will remain unlocked when the story returns. I'm so sorry, but I hope you guys will understand. 
          
          I'm also no longer going to be an Ambassador, so you'll see my Ambassador badge disappear any day. I may rejoin Ambs in 2 months or a lot longer than that. 
          
          Both decisions have been super tough to make, however, I've had no choice but to take these steps to help my mental health at least somewhat recover/get better. I've even reached a point where I was considering deleting my wattpad account as a result of experiencing severe homophobia from a close relative that crushed every ounce of passion and love for writing. I'm not sure when I'll be able to fully recover from that, but I'm still attempting to write. 
          
          On another hand, keep an eye out for Bossed Into a Deal Book 2, and possibly a bonus book in the Seydoux universe (which was an old project) just to share some better news. 
          
          Tysm to everyone who has genuinely supported me and my works, your support means more to me than you know.

Hi guys. Quick update (and slight confession(?)) I've been battling severe and persistent mental health problems for quite a while that have escalated a lot for the past week-ish, so I haven't been active on here or discord as I needed to try to cope with them somehow. So yeah, if I haven't responded... that's why. 
          
          Anyway! I missed last week's Volleyed Into Love update, so chapters 25 and 26 are up now!

          “Damn,” Karina breathes out, her ocean-blue eyes flitting across my face. “I forgot how beautiful your hair looks under the sun.” She reaches out to tuck my hair behind my ear as I attempt to hide the not-so-subtle loud beating of my heart at her compliment. 
          
          “Yours still looks like a horse’s tail,” I say, meaning it as a joke and not a direct insult. Shit, maybe she won’t get it? We aren’t kids anymore. In fact, it's been over three years since we broke up. As friends.
          
          Karina lets out a soft chuckle, and I quietly exhale through my nose in relief. “A well-groomed horse’s tail,” she points out, then tilts her head to the side as she sucks in her bottom lip between her teeth.

She's wearing a white crop top underneath a black jacket that shows off her six-pack and baby-blue athleisure pants. Complete with Alo shoes, the company that sponsored her last summer while I only got sponsored last winter with Puma, and that was mostly through my mother. 
          
          And she’s holding two paper bags with the logo of the ice cream shop I haven't been to once since high school.
          
          Why does that alone make me want to kiss her?
