All writing platforms will be like that when they grow more and more successful, so it's all business. In order to keep up with demands, they have to change it. Sorry, it's just the truth. It'll only happen if customers complain about writers writing something they don't like. For example, writer writes something that promote rapes which is understandable for the change. Anyway point is, since they don't want to lose more customers (reader or writers) so they rather risk losing one writer that writes rape. So they enforce it to enhance better experiences. I would done same as business person. More customers means more profit. Ads being viewed more equal more money. Wattpad will never be the same. AO3 will be like that too if it gets more popular.

That's why I always write on doc sheet first because I can also edit my writing better there and just copy and paste it to Wattpad. You might had violated unknowingly so I'd read the rules again because they did/will change it every once in awhile. Usually any app does after updates. Anyway it's also possible because someone reported your book but I don't know too much about how that works. Just have another backup so you don't completely restart. I never delete my old stories I completed on docs in case something went wrong or if I need to change it based on new rules. Hope this tip helps.
