Five A.M.
It was no use. You couldn't bring yourself to sleep, so you had ended up turning your device back on to see if any of your current friends were awake. They were, but they were tired and rambling about useless little things that you didn't get. You'd always been the outsider of your group. You didn't really mind. Looking down at the pendant that was securely wrapped around your neck by a feeble chain, you noticed your hand reaching up to fiddle with it. It was a habit you picked up. Again, you started typing a passage, talking about what you were doing. It was useless material, but you needed to distract yourself from the loneliness that was slowly creeping up your back and around you neck. A yawn escaped you and your mind pondered on whether your memorized schedule of tomorrow was up to date or not when you came to a realization that it was now "today." You exhaled and almost mumbled something, but instead looked back down and wrote the last words of your passage. Good Morning, Lonliness. It's just me and you now. There's no one else to save me. I'm relieved.
And once again, you posted it before shutting off your device with a small sigh and tried to sleep.
