إِنّي صَحِبتُ الناسَ ما لَهُم عَدَدُ
          وَكُنتُ أَحسَبُ أَنَّي قَد مَلَأتُ يَدي
          لَمّا بَلَوتُ أَخِلاّئي وَجَدتُهُمُ
          كَالدَهرِ في الغَدرِ لَم يُبقوا عَلى أَحَدِ
