I am autistic. Most people don't know since it doesn't affect anyone around me. But to me it is a very large part of my life since I frequently end up in situations due to it.
I get told a lot that I was probably misdiagnosed or I have grown out of it or that the doctors were wrong. 

Instead of letting those words define me I want to write characters that have the same issues I have. In my stories I will never specify who it is or what symptoms are the ones gotten from me. I will instead show problem solving. Before a book is finished the character will always learn to cope with whatever their symptom is and then it will continue to a part of that character without a label.

In real life labels are useful to describe issues so that you can learn to problem solve, but since this is all fiction I will put each character in situations where the issues are addressed without needing a label as to what they are. Since I am the creator I can do that :)
