            He smiled under his helmet "I think I would have to take you up on that offer some time." He replied. Having skies in these times was rare do he was very grateful for the offer. He nodded softly at his response believing the lie "I understand, I may not have lived during those days but the stories make it sound like paradise compared to the wasteland." He sighed softly as darkness overtook the landscape.

                 “ Well now , I reckon I could always fetch somethin’ for ya if you don’t feel like crossin’ a line that’ll get ya killed , ”  he said with a light chuckle.  Thomas never minded lending a hand , especially when someone couldn’t do it themselves.  At the courier’s question , he gave a small shake of his head , a little surprised they could sense something was wrong.  His face remained as a shadow , leaving only his pale white eyes visible.  “ Nah , I’m alright , ”  he replied after a brief pause.  “ Just got to thinkin’ about the old days , is all. ”  It was a lie , but after over three hundreds of years , he’d gotten awfully good at keeping the past to himself.

            The courier laughed looking over at him "well no shit that's gotta be a perk of being intangible you probably could go into areas I would never dream of." He leaned more before noticing his thoughtful expression. "Thinking of someone you lost?* He asked more gently

            "Well this one is a normal one so when standing fully upright he could be up to 10 feet tall." He explained "if it was like an alpha it could be up to 20 feet tall." He replied

            He tilted his head "it?" He asked before shaking his head "you know what, sit tight I'll be right back " he moved swiftly out. Around a half hour later he returned a deathclaw egg under his arm.

            trying to hide further up into the dead tree , jericho found herself puffed up as if to make herself appear bigger . her antennae pinned back and her wings spread to seem dangerous and scary .

            "Ohh ok." He wasn't expecting to get licked but ok. He watched as it continued to examine him unsure if it was just to look or for food 

⠀ ⠀ ⠀it examined him thoroughly, it's one eyes moving all around before locking eyes with him.   it said nothing and did nothing for a minute before something slid right out from his mouth. a long black tongue that pressed right up against the man's cheek, tasting him to make sure he wasn't lying.
