all jokes aside, pride month isn't worth celebrating. especially when the face of the community is just white and cis individuals. pride month is meant to celebrate the differences in the community, not make fun of them or to think of them as less. that includes, non-binary lesbians and he/him lesbians, people of color, jewish people, romani people, trans people and trans people of color especially, and any all of the people in the community who aren't cis and/or white and are ignored and scolded upon by those who are more privileged in this community. pride month isn't worth celebrating, not like this. avi (@-CHRISREDFIELDS ) also made an excellent point in their announcements. if you are going to celebrate pride, also celebrate the ones who are often forgotten.
