the angel had been working her new job as the custodian of the heaven embassy for several weeks now and found it awfully boring to stay there for hours after she had finished .  after a while ,  she began to leave the embassy to go get a coffee or sometimes to go to a bar and just enjoy the atmosphere .  even though she was disguised with her halo hidden and her wings tucked in ,  she noticed cameras in certain places that would follow her as she walked by them .  it was one of those times and she kept her face turned away as she walked through the alley ,  but then bumped into someone .  lyra ,  already nervous because of the cameras ,  startled and reached for her knife .

“Well, old pal. I didn’t expect to see you wandering the streets like this. Don’t tell me you got yourself kicked out of that fancy tower of yours!” Alastor cackled a little, knowing that most likely wasn’t the case, but anything to make fun of vox would do perfectly. “Or, let me guess.” He grinned as he leaned against his microphone, both hands resting on it. “You were so desperate to get my attention that you chose to finally come out of hiding.”
