I need y’all’s help. So for a long time, I’ve been wanting to write a historical-fiction based story/series. I’ve been writing and deleting them for damn near a year now, but I’ve finally got one that I like. It’s based on racial injustice and takes place during the Civil Rights movement.

I have wanted to write a full story, but I don’t want to write it if no one will read it. It’s very discouraging to spend forever writing something and you get no reaction at all. So I’ve written a prologue/summary, and I want yall to let me know if it’s something yall would be interested in reading. Leave comments/feedback please!

"Echoes of Justice: A Daughter’s Journey" follows Camryn King, the daughter of Coretta Scott King and Martin Luther King Jr., as she navigates the turbulent landscape of the Civil Rights Movement in 1965 Montgomery, Alabama. After witnessing the tragic death of her best friend Ricki at the hands of the police, Camryn grapples with grief, anger, and the weight of her family's legacy. With the guidance of her father's teachings, she finds the strength to speak out against racial injustice and violence, despite facing opposition and personal trauma. As Camryn embarks on her journey of activism and healing, she learns valuable lessons about resilience, forgiveness, and the enduring power of nonviolence. Through her courage and determination, Camryn becomes a symbol of hope and change in a world fraught with adversity.
