Exposed to the full radiance of the beating sun was a creature like no other: a dragon, of sorts, who rested upon a tall and narrow stone protruding from the earth. She, for it was a female, sat with her head tilted toward the sky in complete bliss, her eyes closed and wings spread out to show off their full glory. Unlike most other dragons, however, the wings were covered in feathers of fantastic colors. If someone were to view them from above (or behind, in this case) they would gaze upon the rich reds and deep purples on every feather. On the dorsal side, bright yellows and reds that faded into purple dominated. Her face held a bit of violet as well, until it began to fade into blue when passing the eyes. And when she finally opened them to gaze around for the presence she was waiting for, the brilliant luminous gold of her eyes could finally be seen.

@ChildOfSkies Velonic stood and soon joined her, the lake was large enough for only the two of them and maybe even a little extra room. She sighed and laid down softly once again, humming her happiness. "It's nice to enjoy this with someone..." She whispered to break the silence. The only place she might wander to would be behind the water fall but not much was back there. It was beautiful though, plants, flowers and many small small stones littered the rock behind the fall.

@LoneDragoness The dragoness allowed her hollow-boned body float while her tail slowly waved back and forth on the lake's surface, acting as a rudder. Her eyes closed themselves off to the world around them, enjoying only the sensations provided by the lake. Perhaps there is a current, she wondered while stilling her tail and waiting to see if she would go any further.

@ChildOfSkies Velonic watched her go into the water, laying her head out into the water. She watched her graceful movements in the water and she smiled internally, closing her eyes in relaxation. She hadn't been so relaxed in a long while and had never felt like this in a while.
