@-VIRUSES //B)// Bronwyn went back to hugging him, missing his warmth, and just decided to tuck her head under his own. As a reply, she shrugged, keeping her gaze down, “After he said that to me, you never visited again. I didn't know why- and I only ever knew the time if events after I had woken up. Everything was foggy and Lyra was not much help. I was just- conflicted. I loved you but you were gone and it felt like I had lost you like I did Toby. It was just- it was enough to send me over the edge and I was already overwhelmed…” she mumbled, keeping her gaze away from his as she felt almost ashamed for how she felt. He showed that he still loved her and that he didn't know if she would be safe, so why was she still slightly upset about it? Why did it still hurt that he didn't come see her? Surely Tim and Brian would’ve said something, right? “How- How would you have known if I was safe? Why didn't Tim or Brian tell you I was awake?” she mumbled, holding onto him tighter. “I thought Toby was dead- you were the only other person I had besides my parents…” she added just as quietly, if not more. As he cupped her cheeks, she leant into them, closing her eyes, “Never,” she answered, whispering it, while she hesitantly looked up at him. However, she giggled, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck while her legs went around his waist. “Oh really?” she teased, gently cupping his cheeks while she kissed his forehead. “Huh- I’m taller when you pick me up, too~” A soft laugh left her lips while she nodded, shrugging, “They were just overprotective dads who only wanted what was best for me. I’m not excusing their coldness- not okay, that I will say,” she rambled slightly, her arms returning around his neck again. “No, she doesn't- I’m surprised she didn't get Toby into trouble more than we did…”

The man rolled his eyes, "When they found out I was dating you." He huffed, "Fine with me before that, but as soon as they found that out, it was like I was a stranger." Cody mumbled, before grumbling under his breath, "Tell me about it. Doesn't exactly bite her tounge either." (2/2)

♤˗ˏ✎ @-Operator_Girl- //B)// Cody sighed, "I mean," He began, trying to find the right words, "I think he reacts well. He knows what to do to get to safety." He mumbled, happy to hug her - giving her a hurt and confused expression when she'd pushed away. "He said those things, Bronwyn, I didn't. I thought him every time he told me not to go until he stopped me completely." He rambled, "And of course I still love you - I hated not seeing you, but I did it because I didn't know about the Operators and behaviour! All I had to go off of was that book and I gave it to you, so you knew what information I had!" He exclaimed in a ramble - Cody didn't understand why she couldn't see his side, or at least accept it as what happened. It wasn't that he was trying to ignore how she felt, but he'd explained why he'd done what he had - so surely that would've eased it? Though, he paused - Cody wasn't against telling half truths or white lies, and he felt a half truth was in order. "I would've seen you as soon as I would've known it was safe for you." He sighed. Realistically, he would've been scared for her reaction - and, from what he could tell it was a reasonable fear. However, Cody was quick to gently lift her chin up, looking to her as he cupped her cheeks. "What did that man know about what was good for me?" He asked - a stern yet soft tone to his voice, gently beginning to wipe away what tears she had with his thumbs. The man had playfully rolled his eyes though, "I had an idea in mind." He hummed with a small smile. And, at her reaction to being put down, he quickly scooped her up again, wrapping his arms around her. (1/2)
