            the blonde judged his reaction carefully .  she noticed that he seemed a bit horrified and saddened by the response she gave .  with the new information ,  lyra could suspect that molly had been the one to find him after his overdose .  it had to be a terrible feeling on both ends ,  knowing someone so close to you found you like that ,  and finding someone you love lying there completely lifeless .  she bit her lip as to not say anything when angel reached for a bottle .  she knew that sometimes she could come off as a bit judgmental when it came to things like that and that was the last thing she wanted to do with angel right now .  at the mutter ,  she nodded .  a lot of things began to make sense about the family with this new information ,  though she wouldn't share what she knew until she fully understood it herself .  "  if it makes you feel any better ,  she's not living with any of that now .  she doesn't remember ,  "  she told him ,  then bit her tongue to punish herself .  that would probably only make it worse ,  to know that his sister didn't remember him .  lyra had never seen molly in heaven ,  at least she hadn't recognized her at all .  she hoped that she was happy up there ,  not burdened by the weight of the things that had happened in her life .  though they didn't take an active part in the ' business ' like the men did ,  most of the women still very much knew what was going on ,  but just didn't speak of it to each other ,  acting as if everything was normal .             He took in a slow breath, closing his eyes a couple moments Ashe had spoken before opening them and slowly looking back to her, he didn’t like how people often looked at him like a kicked puppy after mentioning how he died, after all, being a part of a crime family in New York, he was no stranger to violence. Though observing Lyra’s expression Hers seemed a little different than others. He paused at her words swallowing, eyes moving down a moment, though when she continued, he slowly glanced over, mouth opening in a silent gasp, staying open for a couple moments before closing as if unable to speak, he
            Took in a shaky breath, the confirmation that she’d definitely found him… with a question like that, had horrified him. “Fuck…” he’d finally mumbled, she was the last person he would have wanted to find him. He shook his head glancing to where Husk shelved the alcohol, it wasn’t like he hadn’t done this before, he reached across grabbing one  of the bottles,  uncapping it, and pouring probably a couple shots worth into his mouth, swallowing it with ease and setting the bottle back down on the counter before he’d finally reply. “She definitely found me…” he mumbled

            she watched him with her cheek resting on her hand .  lyra didn't have to wonder about who found her body ,  with it being the same person as who had caused her death in the first place .  she had never thought that people were worried about who had found them since it was never something she had really thought about .  her nails were short but painted with a neat clear coat to protect them ,  as it was a necessity for when she was playing the guitar .  she couldn't have long or brittle nails in the way since they would easily break .  when he talked about how he had died ,  all she could do was nod in a bit of shock and horror .  a pcp overdose was a terrible way to die and he could only imagine how much worse it would be to have one of the people you love the most find you like that . "  she paused for a second ,  remembering a particular conversation she had once had with molly .  maybe . .  it was her who had found him .  "  i mentioned i worked with addicts right ?  once time molly asked me about what to do with someone who had overdosed ,  just so she knew for the future ,  "  she told him ,  rubbing the side of her arm to soothe herself .

            dodge nearly gave a more genuine grin when he said he didn't want to leave ,  but adjusted it into his more practiced smile ,  relaxing his eyes and the side of his mouth that tended to go up more .  the dimples still showed as they always did .  dodge glanced at his drink and then back up at him when he asked what he was thinking about .  "  hm ?  oh just . .  "  he thought for a second on how to explain it .  then he waved it off and stood ,  putting his stool back how he liked it .  "  don't worry about it .  lemme grab some clothes for you .  "

            The spider demon slowly nodded at his words, taking another slow sip of his own glass before he’d set it down, lips moving to smile softly at the others next sentence. “Good, I didn’t wanna leave” he spoke softly back in an almost teasing tone. His head had tilted a bit at the others tone though, trying to place it. One of his hands moving up to lightly fix his hair, moving back down soon after. “Whatcha thinkin about?” He finally asked, brow raising once more.

            sure ,  angel dust was attractive and good in the sheets but dodge found himself admiring more than that about him .  he found himself more drawn to his sharp wit ,  how he could always take a joke and throw it back ,  the way he seemed to make a connection with people ,  even if he was never going to see them again .  it was likely still surface level attraction but it definitely went beyond the physical aspect of it all .  the incubus swirled the drink in his hand ,  looking down into at his response ,  though he seemed caught a bit off - guard at the question .  "  yeah i'm good ,  just a bit tired tonight .  not really feeling up for it . "  he sipped again and then placed the glass on the counter .  "  still always up for good company ,  "  he told him ,  a slight flirting tone to his voice .  not one that indicated he wanted to get in bed with him but one someone would use in a . .  slightly different context .
