@Green_Queen_12 don’t worry, it’s not rude at all! it’s a common misconception a furry is someone who has an interest in animals with human-like characteristics, whether that mean drawing them, writing about them, or dressing up as their “fursona”, or furry persona. a therian, however, is someone who identifies as one or more non human animals on a psychological, emotional, or spiritual level. though a majority of both groups likes having masks, tails, or paws, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re the same. i hope this helped! if you have any other questions, Therian Territory (on YouTube) is a very helpful source for any other concerns you may have!
