I woke up around 4 a.m. and decided to read my offline-downloaded version of Part 1 of TCF on Wattpad (after not having read it for a while due to exams) then came to realize that the account that uploaded it DELETED THEIR ACCOUNT before I could finish re-reading TCF. I have never felt more despair eating away at me than today. I could definitely just read TCF from the website (but then that wouldn't allow me to read it offline), or find another Wattpad account that uploads TCF, but it's hard to find another Wattpad account that has uploaded the entire Part 1 of TCF. There are also other apps that allow an offline version of TCF, but they were not at all organized and there were some weird grammar mistakes (which I guess is from the app itself or was done by the person who uploaded TCF on that app, because it was still mostly the same word-for-word except one chapter which had a deleted paragraph from the original translation). I am in absolute shambles because a stranger has deleted their account.
Lesson of the Day: Please do not delete your accounts even if you decide to quit, especially if you uploaded stories on your account. I am literally begging you. There are silent readers who hold those stories as a lifeline and will probably throw a chair at the wall the moment they find out that their favorite story was deleted. I'd rather you abandon the account than delete it or your stories. PLEASE.
- Sincerely, a silent reader who is going to throw a chair at the wall.
P.S. Yes, I did decide to disturb everyone with this rant and come out of my long silent era because I could, so what?
