@Crimmmson thanks for your suggestions. Idk if its so much as burnout (at least creatively its not) as it is me wanting to write so bad that I'm like forcing myself to when I'm not really motivated or feeling inspired. Like I want to be motivate and inspired so bad, but it just keeps falling flat despite the stories in my head being so thought out and vivid.
Thankfully, I don't write for income. At my job, I do have to write reports, but they aren't crazy long or anything. Sometimes, I think I just get overwhelmed when I get busy, which can happen unexpectedly. I try to write in my downtime at work but that's not a very creative atmosphere and I'm always afraid I'm going to get interrupted if I start and get into a groove. I think its also just a symptom of me being older now and having more responsibilities that take up a lot of focus in my life and sometimes weigh on me even while doing my hobbies.
Hopefully, it's just a mind over matter thing atp. I'm trying to create a better environment at home to write in and have like a dedicated, creative space, but it's still a work in progress. In the meantime, I try to make it work as best as I can and take advantage of the spurts of inspiration as they come.
