i was doing my French assignment thing

srry for dying on you btw

i was just walking my dog and then fireworks started rlly rlly close to me and i was super scared because i thought it was gunshots and my first instinct was to jump like a metre high and then i thought rly quickly ‘wait ppl in movies get onto the ground’ so i literally kind of dived for the pavement but then i realised again rly quickly that ppl in movie’s are being targeted by snipers 10000km away and they have stuf to cover themselves and i didnt so i kinda caught myself on one leg and one hand and scrambled up and i just ran as fast as i could which believe it or not is actually pretty fast ngl away from the sounds in a zig zag pattern so that it was harder to shoot me yanking my dog along with me and he wasn’t cooperating and i was panicking and then i saw the fireworks in teh sky and i was like oh wait… oh yeah… and then i looked around for people who saw my panicking but i was alone so i just slowed down to a fast walk and nonchalantly speed walked back to my house pretending that i was nonchalant all along and that i wasn’t freaked out from fireworks
