in rps,, it honestly be more disrespectful for someone to give me a shit response to my side specifically when i gave them shakespearean level responses for theirs. like,, i fr be breaking out a thesaurus to be given "he was happy she was there. he hugged her." level responses. and it'd be different if maybe they just didn't rp like that or they weren't super descriptive, but then they'll write the most beautifully composed piece of art for their oc and i'm just done after that. i'd rather have something short but just as beautiful for my end, even if their oc's part is long because it's just about maintaining the same level of effort. that's why i try to keep communication open so mfs can tell me what they don't like so i don't end up getting excited for something and pouring my all into something to get dust back. 
          ig the reason stuff like that bother me is because i'm always genuinely interested in the other person's side of the rp and i'm excited for it, so i just don't understand ppl that don't feel the same way. which isn't a bad thing, it just becomes a bad thing when they start shooting down my side because of it.
