Been writing about academic burnout, my best friend and our traumas, and the boy who's making my head spin, something I haven't felt before.

I see a family close to mine train their daughter in golf. She was playing at two. Now, at seven, she's winning international competitions. People are saying she's making the nation proud and whatnot cause we're army families.
I see my little cousin brother be the best football player in his league.
I see so many parents getting their kids into one sport at a young age, master it as they grow, get better and better.
My parents never did that. I feel useless. I feel worthless. Pointless.
A failure.

@ -boo_bees_baby- but you can still polish those talents, right? And maybe when you’re an adult you can try to start a career with them? And even if you can’t, I think you can still use those talents for good in other ways
