It was easy to dismiss the sight of an errant scamp. The creatures were found all over the planes of Oblivion and oftentimes Mundus. As common as mice, it seemed. However, what wasn't as easy to dismiss was this one's power. Not so unlike Vile's own. In fact... Being so accustomed to Barbas taking the form of a hound nearly constantly, it did sometimes take just a moment for Vile to recognize him any other way, but it was so hard for Daedra to hide from one another.
“A befitting form,” He noted, referring more to said creature's typical show of cowardice than anything he found endearing about them, “Having fun, dog?”

Oh, how he hated to admit when Barbas was right. “Insolent–” He cut himself off with a frustrated huff, choosing to take a moment to collect himself as he considered the situation, “Fine, have it your way. *This time*, I'll allow the mutt to have his bone.”
