            why don’t we go to josie’s instead? at least they have sort of a variety of food. and i’m sure it’s better than three day old *box* mac and cheese. [ she tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear as she smiled. she was obviously just messing with him. ] besides, i could go for a couple drinks. 

well , that's all i got !  besides , it was from a box in the first place , so it's not like it's top of the line . i don't really have much else -- i really should go grocery shopping .

yeah , i thought so too . but then i went into his office an hour later and he's all moody on me . maybe another cup of coffee would help ? he does get kinda down when he doesn't have enough caffeine ...

i guess you're right ... can't blame a guy for trying ??  [    he gave her a sheepish smile , but it faded when she remained unamused .  ]   look . it was technically matt's idea , so it's not /     all     / my fault .

“well that’s because you’d still look good even in a garbage bag,”    he said,  pretending to be offended.    he hummed in content,  head dipping as her hands met his hair and allowed her to fix it up.    “nuh-uh.    the good-looking one here is you,  baby,”    he responded,  interlacing their fingers and squeezing her hand.
