I'm pretty open minded when reading because I know a lot of books has controversial topics (mind you subject back then in classical books weren't as controversial as they are now) but I get thrown off when authors HERE write about incest, sex with a minor, lolita themes, etc.

You're affiliating idol names with these subjects. Yet that's just one of the many things wrong with it. Some of the authors writing about these things ARE ACTUALLY UNDERAGE THEMSELVES.

There are some instances when in the beginning of a story one of the characters as a minor finds out they're in love with an adult, the author adds in a time skip where both characters are adults, and THEN add all the flavorful content- making it APPROPRIATE.

I'm thankful for those who put warnings on their stories but you can't treat those sort of subjects like trigger warnings (also can authors stop romanticizing and/or glorifying depression). Lolita themes, underage sex, incest, they're not appropriate subjects.

I can't force anyone not to write these things but jfc lol,,,, don't

I forget Jungkook is only 5 months older than me. I have this weird thing that if someone isn't at least a year older than me that I don't find them romantically attractive which is sad because I would totally date Jungkook but I feel like if I had that opportunity we'd probably just be best friends. I feel like we'd be the best friends with the "if we aren't married by 30 we marry each other" pact. I would love to be his best friend. I kind of missed out on having the teenage experience or having a 'normal' childhood so how cute would it be for us both to just experience that throughout our 20's together? He yearns for friendship in the way that I do and I could imagine us going out and doing super duper close best friend things. We'd probably be mistaken as a couple many times but we'd both laugh it off. We wouldn't be in love with each other but we would love each other unconditionally. I could imagine us bickering a lot and then being so incredibly soft towards each other. That's so cute!

Okay tbh I have no reasonable explanation as to why I posted this lol but I always think ab how cute it would be!

So I reread this because I sat my phone down for 5 minutes and I feel like that's how Jungkook and I would be as a couple too, but like how cute would we be as best friends?! I'm conflicted!!!!
