// MEET DETECTIVE LARA LOPEZ:
Born in February 14th (currently 37 years old), daughter of a Mexican father and an American (Puerto Rican) mother. She joined the NYPD following the footsteps of her half-brother.
Lara always leaned towards sports and martial arts, starting from a very young age. She began taking Taekwondo and Hapkido classes when she was only thirteen.
Mysterious and reserved, as much as playful and extroverted, she has a lot of fun being this walking contradiction who keeps her friends and colleagues wondering: how many things they still don't know about her? And is it everything she says true?
It's hard to find a single person who hasn't watched nor read Harry Potter, who had never had soup in her entire life, who had infiltrated the Italian mafia in New York and stayed with them to investigate for years, without blowing her cover!
...Without mentioning how she succeeded at stealing a car when she was only ten!
What they know, for sure, though, it's that she's a really good friend. Willing to do what's right, even if it's against the law sometimes, doesn't matter the costs.
