I honestly feel like I’m falling out of love with formula one, which is crazy to me because I grew up watching it and it holds so many good memories for me. however, it just isn’t what I remember it as.
I’m not saying it’s bc of the regulations. I think the sport as a whole has just become less appealing with all of the overexposure and marketing.
and it’s not that my favorite drivers aren’t performing. I’ll support oscar, max, George, and Alex in ANY condition they’re in or in ANY way they perform. I think I’ve just come to the realization that a lot of them are simply rich white dudes irl that grew up rich and probs support trump and stuff.
that said, I won’t stop writing for it <3 , I’ll just follow along a bit less.
it’s not hyper fixation phase like I have with books and tv shows. My love for formula one, the SPORT, will never truly fade, because it’s something I was raised on, and I enjoy it. I just think formula one, from a fan perspective has become so popularized. Ive also realized that there’s so many controversies, but im honestly going to just try and separate the sport from the drivers and characters that participate in it.
thanks for listening to my ted talk. (idk i just wanted to rant. <3 )
