got a majority of all my lab work done, & I’m officially diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic. onto ten million more doctors appointments!

hello, here’s a life update :)
          
          monday, I got diagnosed with diabetes, and it’s likely type 2 but we’re unsure yet. tuesday, I started medication to get my blood sugars under control. wednesday, I developed an allergic reaction to one of my meds — thursday it got worse, and my doctor took me off the med that caused the reaction. friday, I got the news that I would be taking insulin.
          
          saturday was our D&D friendsmas, so that fun! today, we brought home another gecko! however, it’s been a super long and exhausting week. I’m working on the first chapter for Out of the Shadows.
