Hi fic! ik ur busy studying so you can answer this after or when your free, but also if its not too much of a spoiler because im genuinely curious after the recent crumbs. 
          
          Are y/ns parents in a loveless marriage or did they marry for love? was it like arranged?
          
          thats mostly it, you dont have to answer if its gonna be addressed later on but I am curious! also will they have names? i forget if their addressed as like (m/n) or (f/n) or if their like leon who gets his own name? 

some hopeless romantic crumbs while i'm studying for my exam and struggling to write the new chapter:
          
               - "i tried to discipline him, but your psycho younger brother-" -umbridge, "my what? my what?!" -y/n
               - "i know anger exists because i exist and i am full of it, but i know hope exists because kyra exists and she is full of it" -y/n
               - "a drag path path... etched in the surface" but it's y/n looking at the ruins of hogwarts after the final battle
               - "u shouldn't be anywhere near the fight! ur too important!" - y/n's mom, "i am not!" -harry, "yes u are!" -y/n's mom, "no!" -harry, "why won't u just let me do this for u, lily?!" -y/n's mom
               - "no way those vampires are gonna get me" y/n thinks, until she sees that it's kyra and leon asking to be let in

hopeless romantic has got to be my favorite fanfiction of all time. The mc is so relatable but not only her- but all the others characters. I really like the dynamic between her friends and how you also have the ff centered around out of school areas like Hogsmeade or the courtyard, etc instead of just the classes. Your ff definitely gives off Hogwarts fall/winter vibes.  I find Violaine's character to be very interesting like when Mc was revealing all her crushes. It's also not just centered around mc in that kind of way but you can feel the emotions of the characters surrounding her. It also makes sense for them to like y/n because I would highkey fall for someone like her as well. I feel like Violaine mostly judges off of looks whereas Kyra always commented on their personalities. Indie's ability to not get over Theo and the fact that Draco is the last to fall because he had a lot going on at first! And Lorenzo's inability to see past the y/n in his head.  Also, I love how the characters aren’t just one sided.  Adrien is brave and determined but that doesn’t just make him a gryffindor since he also is ambitious and cunning like a slytherin.  Or how Kyra may be a Ravenclaw but she has personality traits from all the houses.  I can see MC’s growth every time she hangs out with her gryffindor, Hufflepuff friends etc.  I'm excited to see which friend y/n goes with for the Yule ball..

while i'm struggling with the next chapter, here's some hopeless romantic crumbs / scrapped plot points:
          
          SCRAPPED PLOT POINTS:
               - mc would've had two cousins (twins) where one worked in the ministry and the other was a professional quidditch player. one of them would've died in the war. they were gonna be used as a way to show the level of perfection mc is being compared to by her parents
               - mc was going to have a kiss with mattheo in deathly hallows (she's not anymore, whoops, but she does kiss ONE person throughout the entire story before the ending)
               - mc wasn't going to have a crush on ANY of the love interests throughout the story, but i added it because the book is literally called hopeless romantic
               - indie's relationship with theo was going to be written a lot more in depth, but i think i just forgot (i'll add more details later in the book to make up for it ig)
               - i was gonna have mc go the ball with her main group of friends rather than one person, but i thought that was boring. having mc go with someone (even just as friends) stirs the pot more and includes more jealousy
               - meredith swanson (oliver's ex) was a last minute addition that i decided to add for oliver's plot development
               - some of u may remember when moriah harper was on the cast list a long time ago, but i removed her and scrapped her character. she was going to be an ilvermorny transfer in ootp and joins mc's friend group. she was also a major turning point for alana and kyra's development, but i felt like her character wasn't really needed

Is it okay to req more time with the slytherins when mc hangs out w them in Hopeless romantic? IM SORRY IM REALLY BIASED, YOU WRITE THEIR INTERACTIONS SO FUNNY AND THE DRAMA BETWEEN MATTHEO AND YN IS MY FAVORITE, I CRAVE MOREE
