            "Well, this is the director's office. If you need anything, I'm just in the cubicle that you found me in," Finn said, stopping in front of the door. 

she nodded in agreement, sighing quietly. "i can only imagine." she mumbled quietly, shaking her head as she placed her hands in her pockets.

"that doesn't make the fact that whoever gets close to me ends up dying or hurt a lie. and i did it, both directly and indirectly." she shook her head, moving her hands to find them in her hair, eyes tightly shut as she inhaled and exhaled.

            "Agent Johnson, if I may, you are a good person with good intentions. I don't think that those people you lost make a difference about whether your intentions were in the right place. You are a good agent," he said softly. 

she looked up at him, wondering if he actually believed that. "yeah.." she muttered, not really having the effort to argue.

            It must have looked odd from the outside. Lecturing an animal wasn't exactly something most people did in a public area, especially when it wasn't their animal. Finn had just gotten done with 'do you understand?' when Elias had come in. "It's my neighbors cat. She's on vacation and I couldn't leave the cat alone at the apartment so I brought it in. They were trying to shred my paperwork," Finn explained.
