hi! i've started working to rewrite seasalt, because after a break and a lot of contemplation, i've decided that i really do hate the way it is currently. it doesn't feel very authentic and i feel like the plot is lacking a lot. the characters are very one dimensional, so i'm starting from the beginning and working my way through it. there will be a few changes, nothing really major to the plot. i just want to make nereid feel more real, also dyllan too, because he's kind of just there (and also VERY annoying, which was never my intention with his character!). i'm going to keep it up as it is currently, and once i've finished redoing it up to the current point that it is at now, plus a few chapters, i'll take it down for a day and update it. i'm not sure how long this process will take me. since it's a rewrite, it will probably be quicker than writing from scratch, so maybe a month or so? anyway. sorry for the inconvenience. to anyone who has read it and enjoyed it (how?), sorry for changing it from the way it is. but i'll try my hardest to make it even better! that doesn't mean i expect you all to go back and read it from the beginning, but we'll see how it goes. lots of love, callie <3

i am FINALLY on school holidays so you best believe that i will be grinding so hard on putting out chapters!! i'm going to try to get out two chapters by sunday, which may be wishful thinking but i will try at least!!
          
          on another note seasalt has already reached 96 reads (praying for 100!!), which is kind of crazy to me. i have no clue how you guys are even finding it? but thanks so much for reading it, and i hope my inconsistent uploading isn't annoying to you. if you want, leave a comment and let me know how you like it and any feedback you've got.

i changed my chapter titles. i looked up roman numerals and i realised how long they get, and if my ff reaches the length i want, i CANNOT keep up with that, lol. also, figuring out an actual title for each chapter is so much pressure and they always turn out bad and so uncreative.
