@destacia I loved it so much ♡ I'm a sucker for happy endings, so when it ended the way it did I kind of wanted to smash my phone and be like 'Jack WTF are you thinking you total idiot.'
I'm just imaging that a decade or two later a man walks into a flower shop, the woman behind that counter asking if she knows him. And he shakes his head, saying that he needs to find the love of his life her favorite flower - which he says the flower out loud. The woman thinks 'that's my favourite flower', but ignored the flutters in her stomach. The man with the familiar accent buys the flowers, looking into her eyes for a second before leaving the shop with the flowers. That's when she realizes that the man she encountered in her shop was someone who worked there with her long ago, that it was Jack Michaels. His eyes and accent were all she needed to work it out; but he was already gone. And then she realized that it had been so long since they had seen each other, that he managed to stop his growing feelings for her and have them for someone else.
So, Romy goes home, heart shattered. Because she realized that she loved him all those years. And when she gets to her home - her empty home - she expects it to be as dull and lifeless as it has for the last decade, the decade without him. But, walking in there are her favourite flowers all over the place, with rose quartz rocks surrounding them.
And when she sees him, she doesn't question why he's there, just how. How did he get inside her home? And, the answer was simply "Thalia."
Thalia totally ships this couple, even decades later!
Can't believe I actually just wrote all of that :')
